It was on September the 9th, in the year of nineteen hundred and ninety-nine, that Fly and Chu positioned themselves around an area known as the ‘Nine Locks’ in a small town called Stourbridge. What followed, at exactly 21:09 that evening, as two buses operated by West Midlands Travel, both on service number 9, passed each other under the aquaduct near the Nine Locks.
So:-
On 9/9/99 at 9 minutes past 9, near 9 locks, two number 9’s passed one another whilst we were recording a celebration in a time.
