Our Historys Back pulls together historical characters from Robert Anton Wilson’s landmark – maybelogic academy class - “The Tale of the Tribe”, juxtaposing them 76 years back into the past through a window of timespace covering just 48 hours: July 31st - August 1st 1936.
The mixed dialogue between the tribal elders is generated by magickal disks and arranged by retrofitted turntables and dextrous use of the” Altable method”, at the disgression of the operator in, and outside the Novel framework, so that the voice of the narrator need not always be the voice of the narrator himself, crossweaving various epiphanies and breakthroughs between the three main locations. With the pre-war backdrop of the XIth Summer Olympic Games in Berlingham, Germoney; the great master poets and artists of that period congregate again, with a new found friendship that soon gets tested by the tribes meeting with an unscrupulous network of greedy villains representing the great intelligence agency/corporation cocain-cola.
In Now Yolk Carson Wools stages “McGraff”, while simultaneously in Rapalltown, Ira Pod produces “I RA: a Baroque & Roll concert”, synchronously uniting two tribes of information age revolutionaries within a specific spacetime intersection point - linking Amorica and Europe together – in a novel spacetime matrix. A new framework for dialogue between the tribe. Warrior poets and mathematicians united again, and working to help prevent an escalation in worldwide warfare, trade in killingry, standing against creeps fixing the games. A directed resistance against the devils who postponed world war II a little longer while they signed some more business contracts and treaties. Reincarnated entities of the tribe are plotting a poetic revolution in the minds of the people during the summer of 1936. Ira’s living with Aglo and Maude in Rapalltown, Mitale’; assisting Aglo in publishing and performing recently discovered Vivaldi concertos, and performing some of them.
In early spring - April 10th - Pod has a vision, while contemplating upon Nesta Venossa, John Adam’s and Mencius; all-at-once. He manifest a new goal, a great work to prevent war in Europe by smothering world culture new language of co-operation, with an encyclopedic pool of research based information and communications would transform human civilization utterly. Pod decided to present the greatest festival of renaissance art and culture in the world, In Rapalltown.
Ira arranged a special Baroque & Roll concert performance in Rapalltown at the city hall and invited the Literati of the day - creating an intelligent network capable of lifting up the crystal vision of Humanitas, and the bardic spirits brave and capable enough to rewrite history again. Pod’s daring plot came overnight after the July 31st Concert in another night vision: a journey up to Berlingham. Poetry and music must steal the spotlight of the Nazi Propaganda and Cocaine-Cola trance operation. Later that night Pod wakes his friends who are staying with him and proposes his master-plan. Pod describes his network of friends and contacts who will be at the Games awaiting them, friendly people who will help.
When Pod and the tribe arrive in Berlingham on the morning of the 1st of August 1936, they are intercepted by TSIG storm troopers and taken down to the TSIG operations HQ where each is interrogated and tortured mindlessly by the Cocain-Cola spy ring butchers. With a bit of luck the group magically escape the lair. Ira making it to the nearby broadcasting Tower first, followed by Bates and Chase who then barricade themselves in. They Perform the short Oilamp Trick Game Tale to the world and re-circulate the knowledge by Vico-like historic cycles and Shannon systematic feedback.
In Now Yowlk on the same day Shermon, Humanski, Carson and Jacky have congregated to discuss their future collaborative projects and ideas for digital communications, world cinema and world-around sanity for all-humanity by roughly 1953.
The Tale focuses a novel lens looking at Ira Pod’s “Videoglyphic Mathods”, Giles Chase’s “Epiphenomena”, Manfred Humanski’s “General Sinman tricks”, Maude Sherman’s “Graffmatical theory of Math”, McLure’s “Usury and Value-Content”, Jacky Muller’s “Trimaxion Structures”, Carson Wools’ “Cinemascape Prose’”, and Hans Spengleton’s “Tripple-Cross”. Don Nomann’s “Theory of Flames and Economic Beehive”, Jacky Muller’s “Word Game”, Giles Chase’s “Shennanigums Wave”, Norman Esse’s “Glass Spore Game” and others. The Voyager 1 probe
is now estimated by some scientists to be over 15 Billion Kilometers from planet earth, and moving away at about 38′000 kilometers per hour. Bolted to the side of the this space-time capsule is a magick disk with coded information about earth, humanity and our languages sealed into it. Using the MPHDJ method, devised by DJ Plush, precise replicas of disk shaped communicating vessels in outer space have been fabricated in a studio, along with other disks jammed full of wisdom language and information about the historical characters from my tale - that are then mixed - to produce a phonetic cut-up and “space music” recording. These primary sources are then to be further analysed and recontextualized as events in space time - intersection points - where the messages and results from the alturntable experiments can play out. The tale has emerged
from using Plush’s Alturntable methods in such a novel way spans a 48 hour timespan, and takes place around three main events in three major cities of the world; New York, Rappalo and Berlin during the high summer of 1936, 31st’ July - 1st of August. Some Theatre productions, Musical performances and sporting events from 1936 are piggy backed to present space-time binded environments - The Apollodelpi Theatre, Rapalltown City Hall and Berlingham Oilamp Trick stadium - into which historical characters under investigation can be placed, together as interacting voices, thoughts and gestures. This process of teleporting the historical characters into new re-historical settings and sets is further explored by DJ Plush and the elaborate bathinacarnation workings that combine the arts of positronic reincarnation with a swimming pool environment - the birth place of the characters whom go off into the pool changing rooms and into the next scene, the next space and time somewhere between July 31st and August 1st 1936. The tale’s three major geographical settings triangulate the historical relation ships between groups of three characters: Alfred Korzybski, Buckminster Fuller and Claude Shannon in Now Yolk; Ezra Pound, James Joyce and W.B Yeats in Rappalltown; Marshall Mcluhan, Norbert Wiener and James Jesus Angleton in Berlingham; for example. Orson Welles is somewhat everywhere throughout the tale, in all scenes and settings, but is involved as himself, or as a collection of recorded media of himself - in a scene remixed in Now Yolk that includes Robert Anton Wilson, Timothy Leary, Claude Shannon, Alfred Korzybski, Buckminster Fuller, CHarlie Parker, Bud Powell, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Malcolm X, Sun Ra, Robert Johnson, Billie Holiday, Lester Young, Amiri Baraka. The scene takes place in the Apollodelphi Theatre foyer, a great cross-roads where artists, poets, scientists, mathematicians and linguists meet. The occasion of the first all black African and African American theatre production in the United States - MCGRAFF: Undergroung Black Hip Hop and black Jazz meets black theatre. - which attracted the musico-historical characters who went on to lay the foundation stones of blues and jazz, swing, Be-Bop, Big Band, rock and roll and electronic music and all musicians who may ever play a musical instrument on this, or any other planet. The slight hint of reefer amidst the sea of smoke as musicians artsists and a strange looking group of white intellectuals gathered in the huge foyer - the conversational drift mixes music and words into a language cloud, hovering above all the heads of those in the room.
The links between improvisational jazz music,
some readings of quantum mechanics, the language of poetry, information theory, comdey and some, just a few, interpreted answers to the questions proposed by Dr. Robert Anton Wilson in his class The Tale of the Tribe; are explored in this one scene. An example of the set and setting from which historical characters can interact and explore the ideas and thoughts that relate to their greatest achievements, doctrines, gifts to humanity. In Rapalltown, Dorothy Shakespeare, Olga Rudge and Nora Joyce are joined by Ezra Pound, W.B Yeats and James Joyce for a celebratory concert of music and folk-ballards at the Town Hall. These Historical characters resove many of their differences and come together for a beautiful concert that has them all up dancing and even playing music themselves: Olga on Violin, Nora on Piano, Dorothy on words, Ezra on drums and basson, Joyce on guitar and Yeats playing cymbals. Creating music not unlike the sounds of the Sun Ra arkestra at times, space music, fugue music, singing and dancing matter. After the successful concert on the afternoon of the 31st - in conjunction with the stunning sun set that evening - Ezra has a great epiphany and decides to take Joyce and Yeats with him to Berlingham on a quest to announce to the world the arrival of the new language, and turn the celebration of death into a festival of life. And so early on the morning of the 1st of August the three set off on a train journey up to Berlin - upon which they encounter some other characters from TTOTT - spies, bankers, poets, writers, mystics. Once in Berlingham they are soon arrested by the Nazi storm troopers who have been tipped off about their plans - and marched down into the Nazi lair beneath the Oil Lamp Trick swimming baths.
The three characters undergo torture
and mental abuse at the hands of the criminal gang of international spies and generals gathered together. With help from agent Phoney, the three manage to escape the torture cells and make it all the way up to the stadium broadcast tower where they barricade themselves in, and deliver a 9 minute performance on behalf of all humanity; a declaration of Universal peace and open sharing of information, a congress of nations, cultures and different people in a fun for all, profit for many - revolution - in the minds and lives sof the people. The doors are finally blown off, Ezra is shot through the head, his brains splattered across the broadcasting equipment like 20 raspberry milkshakes were thrown across the room. Yeats and Joyce managed to crawl down a service hatch and find their way to another tunnel system, eventuall taking them to the river and out, moving slowly back south towards Itay, where they are picked up by Marshall McLuhan in a school bus, and ferried back into Rapalltown and the safety of Ezra’s Home. –PLUSH. MPHDJ Plush of the outer order of the golden mushroom presents an historical network of characters and events based upon the unfinished book of the great Robert Anton Wilson, The Tale Of The Tribe, roughly telling the tale of the development of internet, using the usual suspects and quality critters that have influenced Dr. Wilson’s writing and thinking for over 50 years. In opposition to the research based science, open communication, poetry and individualism promoted by the tribe are a gang of secret agents, lawyers and bankers who are in the war game business and working on behalf of the special holy authority that promotes proper and Holy War.

“NYC, Amorica, 24th row back, 8th seat in - Jacky Muller and Manfred Humanski are discussing Nesta Venossa and the Chinese Graff systems and their relationship to math, talking clearly and demonstrating a hierarchy of “semantic reactions” to alien symbol systems and non-aristotelian logic inherent in the Chunese Graff system, while Budd Powell, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Christian, Max Roach, Kenny Clark and a young CHarlie “Bird” Parker reinvent jazz music while improvising to the stage performance: McGraff, an all black African American cast in a remixed play produced by the young Carson Wools.
James Shermon remembers the sound and then recalls the name of the poet-rebel, overheard at T.I.T while there on his first semester away from Detrout City. The young and moderately shy Shermon guides the other two gentlemen into the foyer of the Apollodelphi Theatre, Now Yowlk, to ask them directly of the man dubbed “the most dangerous poet in the world” the man called Ira Pod. Microseconds before either could reply, young Sonny Bob wonders into the foyer after breaking free from his backstage assistant, and engaging the three men momentarily with his innocent expression and big eyes of wisdom. SONNY had a part in the play due to the original actor playing the role of McGraff’s cousin fell ill, and while visiting Gerritsen beach one sunday afternoon, bumped into Sonny Bob who was crab fishing off the rocks, and captured Carson’s imagination immediately and so got instantly got the part in the show.
On the 31’st of July 1936 - a viral rumor wrapped up in an enigma is circulating like shark-flu throughout the ivory intelligence institutions of Scambridge, Whoreyard, xxford and Stale. Panic has paranoia have descended and so a fugue of variations on the theme that somewhere on earth a rogue group of literary terrorists are planning to strike – awakenment - upon all humanity, at the heart of the matter - with they’re super weapon of mass construction. A weapon made from(U.B.S) technology, possibly originating in Fireland according to most respected sources. This new super weapon has been rumoured around these Universities to be more devastating than either of the new proposed Atomic weapons of mass destruction and Killingry. Its name is Shannanigums Wave and it makes names and livingry. Perpetually.
The rumor soon grows, fuses and spawns into circulating tales roughly speaking of Cutler Bates, Giles Chase and Ira Pod along with their beloved muses - Alice, Aglo and Maude, together conducting Magickal rituals and performances in Rapalltown Mitale’, including the use of sex, some drugs and vibrational physics. Maybe with the intention of creating new language-jing Machine entites, timespace portals to the future, or what some might visualize as a magickal psychological internet projection technique, possibly based on the works of Gio Runoh, Dr. Don E and Ed Li, Chuang Tzu, Venossa, Ishi and an long extensive list of other Occult artists, painters, mystics and poets from history.
The chronicle comes across as true, in some sense, false in some sense and meaningless in some sense, and indeterminate in some sense. The trio of Modernists contact extraterrestrial intelligence and transcribe their language into prose poetry again, but the whole tribe are performing their new discoveries at the Rapalltown City Hall with an audience including Herm C. Esse, Andali Bretchamp, Lem Ming Wei, J.G Frung, Pablo Reich, G.I Birdchief and some say even Millinja himself? The audio/visual tactile experiment and beautifully arranged collaboration turns dramatic when the intelligences contacted through the - Bates, Chase, Pod, Shakespeare, Rudge, Barnacle method - instruct them, unquestioningly to directly and unmistakenly leave, immediately for Berlingham and the XIth Oilamp Trick Games. The future of Humanity hangs in the balance, and so the entire Universe depends on them making it there for August 1st. So mote it be.
Simultaneously on the evening of the 31st of July back in NYC; Shermon, Jacky, Humanski, Carson and the young SONNY - at a distance - across the foyer are discussing the fate and destiny of Ira Pod, the viral rumors of literary terrorists doing Magick in Rapalltown and, the proposed counter-sting operation overheard by Shermon, due to take place early morning on the 1st of August at the Germoney hosted Games. Although Carson manages to carry out an ingenious plot to get the message of warning to Pod and his friends, before the sting operation catches them. This is done by bouncing a message from Bert Wino over at a technology and engineering University Chuna, on through Russhah and then to Mitale’ hopefully before they leave for Berlingham. The message also Uses a groundbreaking new cryptographic digital codex. But the tribe had already left, acting quickly upon the discarnate voices.
Upon the Trane ride to Berlingham the group meet with Marten McLure and also come to the attension of the young James Spengleton, who keeps his distance from the group in an adjacent carriage and does not introduce himself, but rather bugs their cabin with a radio-microphone and makes contact with Wild Bill Skully Von’ Stevenscum and the XXX committee to pass on the abbreviated summaries of what’s being discussed on the trane. About roughly 90% of the conversation was concerning Jim Rico’s doctrines and more or less - cyclical history of the world - and some of the popular misconceptions of Frank Ichi, whom everyone of the tribe could agree as being a major influence and respected cartographer of the BIG questions. The other 10% was talk of old Fireland, Ongdon, Pearass and Mitale’, but not a word about Berlingham, it seemed they had a readymade plan, which worried the spooks, how were they all acting so confident, heading to the Nazi Oilamp Trick Games?
Nobody knew what anybody else knew, such was the confusion and hypnotically transformed emotional States of all within earshot of the Chase/Pod/Bates/McLure dialogue on the train to Berlingham that night. Aarriving at the Oilamp Trick village the goup are disperse after spotting Skully Von’. Cutler, Ira and Giles split from the others, and are soon caught and escorted beneath the swimming complex, to the Nazi intelligence operations lair - where Agents Fowley, Frank Unwisner, Jaz Spengleton, Noelbells, Rudy Haas, Stevenscum and Skully Von drill them, literally for information upon any Occult Magickal rituals they may have done and why they were now in Berlingham, and what and where was this super-weapon Shannaniguns Vapourizer? Also being quizzed about UFO’s, orchids, The Molded Dawn, antartica, the lost continent of MU, DSL, or if they knew anything at all useful to them, since viral rumors had spread around the globe from Chuna, to Rushah, to Amorica and Norope that an immortal group of scholar/poets were somehow commanding extraterrestrial powers from their secret experimental musical base in Mitale’ and who knows where else?
Ira Pod manages to escape the holding cell with some help from Crank Phoney, and by head butting Jaz Spengleton and fracturing his nose during an private conversation, outside the holding cell while Bates was dragged into the reconditioning room 101. Ira makes his way up into the BBS TV and Radio broadcasting room. The moment the first broadcasts are beamed out to the world from the Oilamp Trick stadium, Ira Pod hijacks the broadcasting facility for just enough time for him to recite the poetic cypher of Shannanigums Wave, but he fatally is shot through the head before he can finish. And from here the tale explodes into fragments, difficult to speak of or make a chronological interpretation of. Although he had already achieved enough damage by suggesting that the Writish, the Amoricans, The Germon’s, Yapanose and the Prenshe’s were preparing for a new phony war based on false flag attacks and the newest big Lie hiding behind a fake plastic peace, mask-air-raid. Pod slumps over the microphone with a hole in his head while all the other presidents, prime ministers, royals and lords join Hitler for the opening rituals to various Gods of war. Immortalized in pictures for the world to remember. The league of extraordinary Nazi’s and Athletes, united.
Giles and Bates get sent to a detention center in Wales, but they are soon released on good behavior and go their separate ways; Chase returns to Pearass and Bates moves to Ongdon, Inklnd. One sunny spring afternoon, on his way home from his publishing office, Giles Chase, the great bard of Fireland was shot through the head, through the eye at point blank range. Killed instantly, as was the assassin three days later in a drugs overdose, combined with falling under a steamroller after a high speed chase with police. 111 days later, while riding in his open top Ford, Cutler Bates received a fatal arrow wound to the neck from a hidden assassin, still at large. Each known human being present at either one of these events in New Yowlk and Rapallo was systematically hunted down by Skully and Noebbles, Mellon and Scum’s new intelligence unit and either outrightly murdered, disgraced, hounded and or imprisoned on readymade charges in a mission to erase any history contrary to their history, enforced with war machines, armies, propaganda ministries and assassins.
McClure, however escapes under the radar to Amorica and continues to synthesize what he experienced in Norope into his master thesis Miss. “Understanding Liar.” McLure then pulls the whole tale of Pod’s heroic life together and presents another new historical picture. Through the currents of Runoh, Rico, Jacky Muller, Chase, Ira, Humanski and Carson. At which point he comes back to the attension of the Skully Spengleton spooks, and his publishing thwarted, and his image slurred by some paid media assassins. McClure then exhibits his greatest blow to the established authorities by releasing his grand thesis upon mankinds greatest weapon in the know world – Shannanigums Wave – making the means to extraterrestrial communications the custodial property of the greatest writers who balance the waves. The big lies and little truth and mass deceptions now pimped by war hungry maniacs and intelligence jerk-offs are irrelevant and outdated super bullshit. –- Plush. November 22. 2011.
