Things were looking decidedly bare when we arrived, at the back room of The Rainbow, on the night of the Secret Wars ‘On Tour’ visit to Birmingham. Their new roof had been installed and a fresh breezeblock wall had been panelled in white. We (myself and The Little Bastards) had an hour and a half to work on these 8 foot square panels, so did London (Tek1, Agent & Juice).
It was decided early on that what we would do is freestyle. Unfortunately, Tek1 was the only artist from London on his team, even though Agent lives there now. The judges decided we had won by three votes to nil.
Good to see Peng rocking the dancefloor and the mic.
